Following the successful launch of our Next Generation digdat Utilities website at the end of 2024, we’re excited to announce even more enhancements to the website.

The new site introduced a modern look and feel, along with features that streamlined the user experience and improved efficiency. But that was just phase one, and we’re excited that phase two is now here!

What’s new!

Password Management

We’ve made it easier for you to manage your account credentials directly on the new platform. You can:

  • Change a password: Visit the Account Settings page on the Next Generation digdat Utilities site to update your password. This password will be synced across both digdat Utilities platforms.
  • Reset a password: Click Forgotten Password on the Next Generation digdat Utilities login page to receive a reset email. The password reset link will be valid for 1 hour. Follow the link in the email to set a new password - this will also apply across both platforms.

New Account Registration

You can now register for an account directly on the new login page. After completing registration, you’ll receive an email to activate your account. This link is valid for 1 day. Security questions are no longer required and users will not be prompted to apply for Statutory Access when registering. All registration details will continue to be saved on the old website.

Apply for statutory access

You can now apply for Statutory Access and upload supporting documentation through the Next Generation digdat Utilities site.

An automated email will be sent after account activation. The email will guide you on how to apply for Statutory Access. The eligibility criteria remains unchanged and each application is still reviewed individually.

Supporting documents can be uploaded with any Statutory Access application to help with approval. However, for contractors, this field is now mandatory to prove they are working on behalf of a Statutory Undertaker. Contractors will not be able to submit their request until supporting documents have been added.

Refresh access functionality

If you have rolling statutory access, you can now refresh your access on our new website. We’ve also changed the way you refresh your access. Simply click on the link received by email, and your access will be automatically refreshed.

If you have any questions about these improvements, our customer service team are here to help. Call us on 0800 085 8060 or get in touch via support@digdat.co.uk.
