Our Maps
digdat provides maps of Great Britain via the internet. Once you have registered and logged in you will have instant access to select an area and (depending on your access level) you can view, print or order paper copies of maps of Great Britain and various utility companies’ underground assets.
Ordnance Survey Maps – England, Scotland and Wales (1:25,000)
The Ordnance Survey MasterMap topography layer is a detailed, intelligent, geographic database. It contains almost half a billion features from the built and natural landscape of Britain and is viewable in a variety of scales.
digdat offers you the ability to quickly and easily search for and view your area of interest, and to pan and zoom around until you have selected the exact area you would like to print or create a pdf for. We also provide a printing service, so for an additional fee you can request that a printed version is posted to you. These can be posted within one working day of your order being placed.

Utility Asset Maps
digdat also provides utilities’ asset maps. The utility companies’ assets that are currently available on digdat include the water and wastewater assets of Anglian Water, Hartlepool Water and Thames Water, and Virgin Media’s trench network data, all of which are overlaid onto an Ordnance Survey background.
If you are excavating a highway or working for a local council or other utility that needs to excavate an area, you may be entitled to free access to utilities’ asset maps. You can apply for free access by registering on the website and submitting an application. This will give you the ability to view or print maps at your convenience. For an additional fee we can print maps of Anglian Water or Hartlepool Water’s assets and post them to you.
For those customers that are not entitled to free access, you can still use the website to select your chosen area and order a pdf or paper copy of the map (currently available for Anglian Water and Hartlepool Water’s asset maps).

Please note: Service pipes, private sewers and drains, and former private sewers and drains transferred to the water companies on or after 1 October 2011 are generally not shown on the wastewater plans.
